Matthew 3-9

In Matthew 6:19-24, Jesus calls His disciples to assess their priorities. What treasures are we focusing on? What will ultimately give us lasting satisfaction - earthly or heavenly treasures? His vivid examples - treasures, body parts, money - illustrate a deeper truth. The point of this passage is not strictly about money or stuff, but about how much stuff gets in the way of us focusing on and valuing that which is more important, the One who is most important!

Theme: Eternal satisfaction does not result from craving earthly stuff but from treasuring Christ and His agenda!
