GraceHill Church is a community of Christians committed to one straightforward mission:
to glorify God by helping people know, love, and serve Jesus Christ!
This is our mission because it’s what Jesus Himself told His church to do.
GraceHill is an intentional allusion to Calvary, where Christ died on the cross outside the walls of Jerusalem two thousand years ago, procuring eternal salvation of all His people. Grace, rooted in the finished work of Christ, is central to the Christian faith (John 19:30; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11-14); it is central to our preaching (1 Corinthians 2:2; Acts 20:24); it is central to the whole Bible (Luke 24:25-27).
The church is the assembly of God's people called by His Name, through which the Gospel is spread, and the disciples are made. Jesus, who possesses universal dominion in heaven and on earth (Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 28:18), set this agenda for the church, commissioning His people to make His Name known by making disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:19-20).
As a church, we exist to glorify God by helping each other come to know God’s grace in the person of Jesus (John 17:3; 2 Corinthians 8:9), grow in our love for Him as we behold Him and follow His teachings (2 Corinthians 3:18; Ephesians 3:17-19; Matthew 28:20, John 14:21), and serve Him as we care for the people in our lives, our communities, and even around the world (Romans 12:9-13; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8).
By God’s grace, we desire everything at GraceHill Church to be driven by this mission. So, if this resonates with you, join us this Sunday!
