If the most repeated one another command in the New Testament is “love one another” (mentioned no less than 9x), the second most frequent command might surprise most - “greet one another with a holy kiss” (5x)! Notably, in five different letters, this command was written by two different apostles, addressed to dozens of congregations in several different countries. Even though in our culture today, this might seem awkward, we still need to understand and apply it to be obedient to the Lord.
Theme: Since we are bound together by the Gospel, our greeting should display genuine affection for one another.
