October 14, 2022 - Weekly Update

Fall Festival | Saturday, October 29

As many of you already know, we are planning to host a community Fall Fest on October 29. This event is for our families with an outreach emphasis: to invite our neighbors to get to know us and make further connections for the sake of the Gospel.  

There will be food, candy, bounce houses, games, face painting, crafts, photo area, music, gifts, prices and more!

We want to offer you, our church family, an opportunity to participate and contribute to this event. We know many of you are already volunteering your time and energy to this event. Thank you!

• Another way you can get engaged is by donating bags of candy. We will be giving away LOTS of candy on that day, so if you would like to contribute, please buy assorted bags of candy and you could drop them off this and next Sunday in the lobby.
• On Sunday, Oct 23, following the service, we will be going out into our neighborhood to pass out invitations to this event. We will have pizza for lunch, after which we will spend one hour reaching our neighbors. Please plan to stick around to help get the job done!
• On that same Sunday, GY will be selling coffee to raise additional funds for this event (raffle prizes, food, game material, etc).

Sunday Worship | October 16

Sunday is coming, so if the Lord wills, we will gather together for corporate worship and fellowship. We encourage you to come early (9:30 am) to participate in the fellowship with one another, enhanced by coffee & bagels :). Thank you to our hospitality team which does a great job of preparing a warm welcome for the members and guests of our church.

We will continue our study through Romans 8, focusing on verses 14-17 and the doctrine of our adoption into God’s family. We hope you’ve been encouraged and built up in the faith through our study of this grand chapter.
