Please see this week’s announcements and reminders below:
Church, it is a great honor to gather together on the first day of the week to worship our God. Together with the psalmist, let us exclaim with joy:
Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:6-7
Lord willing, we will do just that this coming Sunday! As we open up God’s Word together, we’ll finish another sermon series in the Gospel of Matthew, The Mission of the Kingdom (Matt 10-12), and prepare to launch into a new section, The Mysteries of the Kingdom (Matt 13).
Right after the Sunday Service, we will have our annual membership meeting. If you’re a member, you should have received an email earlier this week from Pastor Mike with information about the meeting and our 2021-2022 financial report. That report also contains the 2022-23 budget, which will be voted on this Sunday. Please make sure to go through the report before we meet on Sunday.
Baptism is next Sunday! Come and celebrate with the church as we hear testimonies of God’s saving grace. Invite your friends and family, and pray that God would be exalted through the preaching of Christ and the salvation of many more souls.
Our hospitality team is preparing to serve us lunch following the baptism service, so plan on staying after the service.
The final day of Sunday School is Sunday, June 5. On behalf of the leadership, I would like to thank all the volunteers for their commitment to our children this season. Thank you for partnering with parents to train and disciple our children by teaching them God’s Word and imitating Christ before them.
We plan to resume Sunday School in September.
Our annual Summer Camp is fast approaching! It’ll take place at the usual location - Hartstone Bible Camp, from June 30 to July 3 (Thur-Sun). Don’t forget to take time off from work. Registration will open on May 29.
