Mercy / Outreach Update

Recently, our church had a couple of opportunities to assist some families, both near and far, and we would like to share these things with you and thank you for contributing to the work of the ministry.

• Last month, we assisted a Ukrainian refugee family of 7 (5 kids and one more on the way) from Mariupol, which is now living in Yeysk, Russia. Since fleeing Ukraine, the family had trouble finding work and making ends meet. Because of your support, we were able to contribute to that family.
• Two weeks ago, there was a fire at the Madison (apartments by our church facility where we did some outreach) and as a result, 8 residents were displaced, including Mandy, who has visited both our church and one of our life groups. Unfortunately, most families lost all of their possessions due to fire or water. Members of Antelope / Roseville Life Group, along with a few others, were able to pitch in and get department and grocery store gift cards which we distributed to these families, along with some gospel tracks and invitations to the church. We hope to reconnect with them and establish some kind of relationship.

Sunday Worship | Aug 14

We look forward to gathering together for worship this Sunday. We’ll turn our attention to the Old Testament, as Pastor Mike will preach from 2 Samuel 7:1-17. Come early to fellowship and catch up with one another with coffee and bagels (9:30 am).
